Website design & build: Read moreI’m Kyle. I build websites, online shops and custom software for small businesses in Glasgow and across the UK — and then I stick around to look after them.
No account managers, no handoffs. You deal with the person writing the code.
Four things, done properly, for businesses that need them to work.

A short call or an email exchange. You tell me what the business does and what is getting in the way. No jargon, no pitch deck.
I write down exactly what I will build, what it costs, and when it will be done. If the scope changes later, you hear about the cost before I start, not after.
You see progress as it happens rather than disappearing for six weeks. Changes along the way are normal and expected.
I hand it over with a walkthrough. If something breaks at 9am on a Tuesday, you message me directly.
The person you brief is the person who writes the code. Nothing gets lost being passed between a salesperson, a project manager and a developer who has never spoken to you.
You will never be handed a document full of acronyms and asked to approve it. If I cannot explain a decision in a sentence, it is probably the wrong decision.
You own the code and the accounts. If you ever want to work with somebody else, nothing is locked up and nothing is held hostage.
Cardboard Rocket is new, so these are illustrative examples of the kind of work I take on rather than finished client projects. They will be replaced with the real thing.
Example project
A one-page site that turned a word-of-mouth business into one that gets found on Google.
Example project
A booking tool that replaced a paper diary and a stream of missed calls.
Example project
An online store and collection system built for a business that had never sold online.
Tell me what you are trying to do and I will tell you honestly whether I can help, what it would cost, and how long it would take. I reply within one working day.
